Why Are There Coffee Beans At Fragrance Counters?

Have you ever seen a small jars of coffee beans at the fragrance counter?  Wondering what are there for? There are available for customers to smell fragrance in the event of odor fatigue. The idea of sniffing coffee beans to "clear" your nose while sampling perfume.

When you test or smell perfume/fragrance, do it not more than 3 at a time before you reset your nose by sniffing the coffee beans. There are one other way to reset your nose if there's no coffee beans around is by breathing in the fresh air after 3 sampling or breathing into a wool cloth/scarf. It works too.
